Each donation is important. Each donation is utilized to its fullest. Each donation is used to build a relationship between the donor and the recipient. It is our privilege to Be the Hands that deliver the Heart of our donors.THANK YOU
Expanding Opportunities has several levels of donors. Each is important in building the bridges between people around the world.
- Developer: These donors are the public relations arm of the organization. Through their work they share our work. They may
- actively talk about the organization to their friends, family and colleagues
- distribute posters and brochures
- organize and carry out community events and fundraisers
- schedule speaking engagements for Expanding Opportunities staff
- encourage employers to create employee deduction plans
- provide information about Art and Craft Fairs
- Volunteer in the USA or
- Volunteer in Kenya
- Supplier: These donors supply the organization with material items. They donate
- paper goods, office supplies, office equipment
- solar lights, books, etc.
- New and used books, educational supplies
- tents, tarps, mess kits, supplies etc. to Camp Forest or
- skilled labor for installation, web design, computer repair
- Helping Hands: These donors give $1.00 - $99.00 per year to assist with the projects of the organization. Their Helping Hands of
- $1.00 provides one meal for one child
- $3.00 provides support for one child for one day at the Joseph Waweru Home School
- $8.00 provides one book or one Bible
- $20.00 provides one school uniform or
- $50.00 provides one partial scholarship to Camp Forest
- Foundation Builder: These donors give $100.00 - $999.00 per year. Their contributions form the foundation for the organization.
- $100.00 provides 10 bags of cement for building space for additional children
- $200.00 provides support for one high school student for one year
- $350.00 provides a scholarship for one child to attend a beginners wilderness expedition week or
- $900.00 provides support for 10 children in the Joseph Waweru Home School for one month
- Mountain Mover: These donors give $1,000.00 or more per year. Their contributions allow us to move mountains in people's lives.
- $1,080.00 provides complete support including medical care for one child at the Joseph Waweru Home School for one year
- $1,800.00 provides an employee for the Home for one year
- $2,580.00 provides complete support, including medical care for an HIV+ orphan for one year in the home on his/her inherited property
- $8,000.00 provides staff and materials for an Indigenous Shelter course and with construction at Camp Forest or
- $15,000.00 provides start-up funds and one year support for a Girl's Home
