Individual Child Support: Girl Child

Sponsoring a child can be a deeply enriching experience.

  • As a sponsor you can write to your child, send pictures of your family, or home or even visit!
  • Your sponsored child can write to you at her level. Expanding Opportunities will provide you with updated photos of your child annually.
  •  Your sponsorship will allow a girl child to have a safe haven in a home, or boarding school, education, medical care, and guidance with their physical, mental emotional and spiritual growth.
We are here to help your sponsorship be all you would like it to be. Don’t hesitate to contact us.
Select your child, click the Sponsor button to sponsor through PayPal or the email to have a representative of Expanding Opportunities contact you and your adventure in child sponsorship will begin.

Expanding Opportunities is about to launch the Ariemet-Kulea Girl's rescue Center. Surrounding the small village of Ariemet are five pastoralist tribes. Many of the girls in these tribes are still subject to FGM and early marriage.  These practices were outlawed in Kenya several years ago but they are still practiced in many areas.
HELP us to HELP these girls and HELP the families understand the value and importance of education and choice for the GIRL CHILD.

Help a Girl Child

Expanding Opportunities has discovered many girls who need a variety of different types of assistance.  Many are not able to attend school due to school uniform and other fees. Some older girls are unable to attend several days per month due to the lack of hygeine products.  Some very young girls are forced into marriage or female circumcision. There are groups that rescue these girls but they need additional assistance.

If you would like to assist a Girl Child, your donation of any amount will be used specifically for a girl child in need.

Expanding Opportunities has been given 5 acres of land for the development of the Ariemet-Kulea Girl's Rescue Center. A great deal of local support in the form of human resources is available. We need funding for building materials.
It is estimated that stage I of the Center can be constructed for approximately $35,000.00. The subsequent stages cost less to construct.
Please help us develop this Home with a donation of any size.
