Administration

Expanding Opportunities is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding educational and societal opportunities for people nationally and internationally. Currently, the focus of service is in rural Maine and Nakuru, Kenya. Founded in 1999, the organization has five main projects:

A small governing board guides the projects of Expanding Opportunities. The board consists of nine members with the following designated positions:

Founder, Beverly Gilbert Stone

Director, Beverly Gilbert Stone
Treasurer, Adam Stone
Secretary, Ali Wilson

The Board meets regularly in person or electronically to direct the operations of the organization and to discuss fundraising strategies and the progress of the projects.

Expanding Opportunities is also a Registered NGO in Kenya. A small governing board works with the USA board to administer the projects.
